Are you open for commissions?

Generally, yes. There is a commission form page that you can fill out here to inquire. If that form is missing from the page it means commissions are currently closed. We appreciate the understanding that while we pride ourselves in making quality items and bringing your dreams into reality, there are some projects that we are unable to take on.

How long do commission pieces take?

Depending on the size of a piece and the current workload, it can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks

Why lead free?

The simple answer: Less cleanup and safer handling. While using leaded solder and came has it’s advantages, there are more steps required to make pieces in a safe manner. Learning the process of using leaded came, a slender grooved lead bar used to hold glass panels together, requires more equipment and time for training. I prefer the simplicity of knowing my items are safer to handle and there are no additional restrictions on where you can display your pieces.

Do you ship internationally?

We do not currently ship internationally. We are hoping to get this set up in the future. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Are your designs available for purchase?

I do not sell my designs as I create them start to finish and they are 100% unique to WTBR. There are many different beginner designs available for purchase in teaching books or even on Etsy. It is very important to respect individual artists' creative products as a lot of time and effort is involved in perfecting each design so please do not steal them even for personal use.

What if something I am interested in is sold out?

Certain pieces are one-of-a-kind and not available to be remade, usually due to certain glass not being available. If the item you are interested in isn't one-of-a-kind you can inquire about a commission piece-please understand pricing may vary compared to the original listing

What does one-of-a-kind mean?

These pieces are marked to show that the materials used cannot be repeated or repurchased to make another one. If you see a one-of-a-kind piece that you like, it is always best to purchase it.

How do I display my pieces safely?

It is important to understand that while these pieces are secure they are still made of glass. It is best to hang larger pieces from an eyelet screw or nail rather than the suction cups. For the smaller items suction cups do work but please note that a fall resulting in damage cannot be repaired or replaced for free.

My piece arrived damaged, what do I do?

We do our best to ensure that our packages get to you as safely as possible, but we know accidents can happen. In order for us to best assist you the steps below must be followed:

An email with the following information must be sent to contact@wtbrstudio.com with “Damaged Item” in the subject line

  1. Photos of the packaging and damaged item
  2. Include your name, mailing address, and tracking number in the email
  3. Email must be sent no later than 1 week after item has been received, we will check the received date via the shipping company to determine arrival

We will start a claim with the shipping company and discuss options as far as repairs or replacements are concerned. Anything received after 1 week will require shipping to be paid to and from WTBR Studio if any repairs or replacements are made.

Please understand free replacements or repairs are NOT guaranteed. As a small business we do not have the capacity to do this especially if the item is one-of-a-kind.
